Thick tom head with two layers of black film for durability, plus a surprisingly open, full sound.
Product Description
The Evans Black Onyx is a 6" coated tom head built from two layers of 7.5 mil black film with a transparent coating on top, making it one of the thickest heads in the range. Despite the thickness, it delivers a surprisingly open tone, making it a solid choice if you want a durable head without sacrificing a full, open sound.
- Two layers of 7.5 mil black film for added durability
- Transparent coating over the film
- Open, full tone despite the head's thickness
- A good fit for players who want a head that lasts
