6" Paiste 2002 Accent Cymbal

Product Description

The 6" Accent Cymbal from Paiste's 2002 series is a small cymbal carrying the classic 2002 sound that has defined rock drumming since the early 70s. Made from CuSn8 bronze ("2002 Bronze") and built to add a distinct, pinging accent on top of your regular cymbal setup.

Paiste 2002 is still made according to the same principles as the very first classic cymbals in the series, so it holds up today just as well as it did back then. The sound is described as brilliant, clear and warm, yet strong and musical with a high energy level and powerful projection. The attack has a pinging character with a lively intensity, while the bell is muted and produces a separated chick sound.

Applications

The 2002 series is designed for medium-soft to loud music, both live and in the studio. It works in classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, as well as crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul, gospel and a wide range of subgenres in between.
