The Wincent 5B XL is the classic 5B model in an extra-long version, made from selected US hickory. It gives you the same familiar feel as a standard 5B but with added reach, making it a good option if you want a bit more stick in hand without changing the grip thickness.
Wincent is the Swedish manufacturer that has found success worldwide thanks to its high quality and innovative design. Instead of lathing, Wincent shapes the profile of its sticks by grinding. This reduces the risk of cracking at the tip, compared with lathed sticks where wood fibres can be cut in a way that leaves the tip more exposed.
