Ahead 5B Rock

Product Description

The Ahead 5B Rock is a drumstick with an aircraft-grade aluminum core and a durable, replaceable plastic sleeve. The sleeve protects both the stick and your drums and cymbals, and is designed to last up to 5 times longer than a wooden stick.

• Aircraft-grade aluminum core
• Replaceable plastic sleeve (ST)
• Replaceable tip (TIP)
• Built-in Vibration Buffering System (VBS)
• Ergonomically shaped grip

Replaceable Parts

Both the sleeve and the tip can be replaced separately, letting you customize the stick to your playing style instead of buying a whole new stick when a part wears out. The sleeve is designed to outlast a regular wooden stick by a wide margin and is inexpensive to replace.

Feel

Ahead's built-in Vibration Buffering System (VBS) is designed to reduce hand fatigue during long or hard playing sessions. The sticks are perfectly balanced with an ergonomic grip that sits securely in the hand.

Who It's For

Ahead sticks are used by several hard-hitting drummers, including Lars Ulrich, Tommy Lee, Joey Jordison and Peter Criss, and are a good choice if you play a lot and want to avoid replacing an entire stick every time a wooden one would have broken.

Ahead offers a 60-day replacement warranty against broken drumsticks. Never play with a damaged sleeve or tip.
