ProMark 5A Rebound FireGrain hickory acorn

Product Description

Promark 5A Rebound Firegrain with Acorn tip are drumsticks in FireGrain hickory, made in the USA. They give a more solid sound with clearer attack but keep the same feel as a regular stick.

Construction

The sticks have a long tapering neck of 3" built on the Rebound Balance technology, giving extra good rebound suited to dynamic playing. The tip is an Acorn tip that gives increased response and articulation. The diameter is 0.565" and the length 16".

Manufacturing

Promark uses their own sawmill that sorts and selects the best parts already at the sawing stage. The material is FireGrain hickory, a harder variant of hickory than the regular kind. For every tree that is cut down, Promark plants 5 new ones.

Matching

Each pair is pitch matched with a maximum 6hz difference between the sticks. The pairs are also weight matched with a tolerance of max 1.5 grams.

Feel

Despite the harder hickory you get the same feel without unwanted vibrations, and the sticks keep their original weight and balance. The finish is much flashier than on regular sticks, but the feel is the same as you are used to.
