ProMark 5A Rebound hickory activegrip nylon

Product Description

5A Rebound ActiveGrip from Promark are drumsticks in Hickory with a black finish, belonging to the Select Balance series. They are built for extra rebound and a relaxed grip throughout the gig.

ActiveGrip Technology

The surface is treated with ActiveGrip, a technology that activates with heat and hand sweat. The more you sweat, the better your grip on the stick becomes. This does not affect your playing feel the way gloves, grip tape or rubberised grips usually do.

Playing Feel

The sticks give a relaxed grip and keep their technique even towards the end of a gig. The construction gives extra rebound, which makes them suited to dynamic playing.

Matching

Each pair is pitch matched with a maximum difference of 6hz, which corresponds to roughly 0.25 of a tone. The weight is matched with a maximum difference of 1.5gr between the sticks in the pair, so both sticks feel equal in the hand.

Manufacturing

Promark saws the wood at its own sawmill and controls the whole process, from sawmill to finished stick. Through the Plant Preserv 5-1 programme, 5 trees are planted for every tree that is felled.
