The Vic Firth Nova 5A Black drumsticks come in the most popular stick size around – 5A – a true all-round choice that suits most styles of playing. Nova is Vic Firth's second-grade line: made to the same specifications as the equivalent American Classic models, but produced from second-grade hickory and priced accordingly. That makes it one of the strongest options in the budget segment, giving you the same feel and playability without the full price tag.
Each stick is hickory with an oval-shaped wood tip, a medium taper, and a black lacquer finish. Diameter is 14.4 mm (.567") and length 406 mm (16"), matching standard 5A dimensions.
