5A Black Finish, Wincent
Wincent 5A drumsticks in black finish. Ground hickory profile and wax treatment for extra durability.
Product Description
The Wincent 5A Black is a hickory drumstick with a sleek black finish, ground rather than turned to reduce the risk of cracking at the tip. A solid choice if you want a reliable 5A stick with a bit of extra style.
Wincent is the Swedish manufacturer that has found success worldwide thanks to its high quality and innovative design. Instead of turning the stick profile like most other manufacturers, Wincent grinds the shape instead. This disturbs the wood fibers less, reducing the risk of cracks forming at the tip. Often the most exposed part of a drumstick.
The sticks are also treated with a unique wax blend that protects the wood and strengthens the stick, helping it last longer even during intense playing.
If you haven't tried Wincent yet, this is a good place to start. 5A is one of the most widely used sizes and suits most styles and settings.
