28" Remo Pinstripe - Clear
28" bass drum head, Remo Pinstripe Clear with two 7-mil Mylar plies. Fat, low-pitched tone with quick decay and moderate attack.
Product Description
The Remo Pinstripe Clear is a 28" bass drum head built from two 7-mil Mylar plies, made for the fat, low-pitched sound heard in Pop, Rock and R&B. Its dual-ply construction gives quick decay and a moderate, controlled attack that suits a wide range of styles.
Two 7-mil Mylar plies make the head more controlled than a single-ply head, without becoming heavy to play. The result is a deep, full low end with quick decay, so the head doesn't ring on too long, making it easy to keep the bass drum sound tight in a mix. Attack and response are moderate, giving a round, fat tone rather than a sharp one.
