Product Description
The Powerstroke P3 Felt Tone is a 26" bass drum head from Remo with a felt dampening strip already built in. There's no need to cut and tape your own felt strip. The head is ready to install straight away, giving you the classic, controlled bass drum tone that felt dampening provides, suited to both vintage and contemporary drum-set setups.
The felt dampening strip sits free-floating inside the head, built in without any glue or adhesive. This lets the strip move naturally against the underside of the head as you play, giving more even and predictable dampening than a loosely taped felt strip that can shift or come loose over time.
Easy install, classic result
Because the dampening is built in, you get the complete solution in a single head. That makes swapping heads quick. Ideal when you want that controlled, dampened bass drum tone without fiddling with loose felt pieces or extra tape inside the shell.
Film options
The head is available with a Hazy or Fiberskyn film, giving it a distinctive look as well as a softer tonal character compared to a plain clear or white film. The Powerstroke P3 Felt Tone series is available in sizes 18" through 24".
