26" Evans Frosted EQ3 - Coated
Coated two-ply 26" bass drum head from Evans. Slightly thinner than EQ2, no Dry Vents but with damping rings. Evans EQ patch included.
Product Description
The Evans Frosted EQ3 is a coated two-ply bass drum head in 26" with a wet attack and a fat low end. Its focused tone sits between the EQ1 and EQ2, and the coating gives a drier attack. An Evans EQ patch is included in the price.
The head is slightly thinner than the EQ2 and lacks the EQ2's Dry Vents, but instead features built-in damping rings that shape the tone. This gives a bass drum sound with a clear attack and full low end, positioned between the more open EQ1 and the more controlled EQ2.
