The Remo Powerstroke 3 Colortone Smoke is a 26" bass drum head with a smoky, translucent finish and built-in muffling. It delivers a full, controlled bass drum tone with clear attack, and the translucent colour shows through clearly even when lit from behind the drum.

The Colortone series is built on Remo's Skyndeep® Imaging Technology, which gives the head a distinctive visual look without compromising projection, tone or durability. The colour is available as Orange, Yellow, Red, Green, Blue and Smoke (this version), and the technology is used across the whole Colortone line in the Emperor®, Powerstroke® 77 and Powerstroke® P3 models, in sizes from 8" to 26".

Construction and Muffling

The head is single-ply with built-in muffling, typical of the Powerstroke 3 construction. This gives a full low end with controlled decay, without needing extra muffling on the inside.
