24" Aquarian Super Kick III - Coated Black

Product Description

The Aquarian Super Kick is one of the most imitated bass drum heads on the market and a favorite among drummers, drum techs, and recording engineers who want a controlled, musical bass drum sound without adding felt strips, pillows, or other external muffling. This version is a single ply head with a black Coated finish.

The secret is the patented Floating Muffling System. A narrow band of acoustic felt built into the head. The felt moves and "breathes" with the head on every hit, eliminating unwanted overtones while boosting that great low-end punch, all without robbing the head of its natural tone.

Sound without extra muffling

Since the muffling is already built into the head, there's no need to experiment with loose felt strips or pillows inside the bass drum. The result is a controlled, pre-muffled yet still open and natural bass drum sound, ready to play straight out of the box.

Who it's for

A great choice if you want a tighter, more studio-ready bass drum sound without fussing with extra muffling gear, whether you're playing live or tracking in the studio.
