Product Description
The Remo Silentstroke is a 24" bass drum head that reduces volume by roughly 90% while keeping much of the drum's natural sound and stick feel. Perfect for practicing on your own kit without disturbing the people around you.
Practicing drums without disturbing your surroundings is a constant challenge for many drummers. Practice pads are great, but often you'd rather practice on your actual kit. The Remo Silentstroke solves that by heavily dampening the sound, without making the drum feel like a completely different instrument under the beater.
Natural Feel, Much Lower Volume
The head cuts volume by about 90% compared to a standard batter head, while still retaining a lot of the drum's natural response. Stick feel and attack response remain very good, so practicing still feels like playing a real drum, just much quieter.
Also Works for Triggering
Besides quiet practice, Silentstroke heads also work great for triggering, making them a solid choice if you're adding electronics to an acoustic bass drum.
