Product Description
Remo's Powerstroke P3 Felt Tone is a bass drum head with a built-in felt strip for traditional dampening, ready to install without loose parts or tape. The felt strip floats freely inside the drumhead without glue or adhesives, making it suitable for both vintage and contemporary drum sets. The series is available in sizes from 18" through 24", in Hazy or Fiberskyn film.
Drummers have traditionally dampened a bass drum with a loose strip of felt taped or fitted by hand inside the drum. Powerstroke P3 Felt Tone builds that strip directly into the head instead. No gluing, no extra work at installation, just a head that goes on like any other.
Construction
The felt strip sits free-floating inside the drumhead, not glued or otherwise attached, dampening unwanted overtones while preserving the head's natural movement.
