24" Istanbul Agop Special Edition Ride Cymbal
24" ride cymbal from Istanbul Agop's Special Edition series. Dark, complex overtones with a smoother high end and clear stick definition.
Product Description
The 24" Istanbul Agop Special Edition Ride is designed to capture the qualities of two of the brand's most popular jazz cymbals: the Mel Lewis and the Agop Signature Series. The result is a ride with dark, complex overtones and a smooth, controlled top end.
The Special Edition series combines a unique, vintage lathing pattern on the top with a very light, Agop Signature style lathing on the bottom. This combination gives the cymbal its distinct character: dark and complex overtones paired with a smoother high end and clear stick definition.
A great choice if you want depth and complexity in the underlying tone without losing clarity in the stick attack. A cymbal built with jazz playing in mind, but versatile enough for other musical settings too.
