The Remo Fiberskyn 3 Ambassador is a 24" bass drum head with the dark, warm, round tone traditionally sought after in jazz and orchestral settings. Built from a single ply of poly-spun fiber Mylar® film at 10 mil, it produces a warm mid-range resonance with a soft attack, and the surface works equally well with sticks and brushes.

Tone Character

The Fiberskyn 3 series is known for its natural, skin-like tone with a warm, rounded character. On a bass drum this gives a full, dampened resonance without harsh overtones, which is why the head remains a staple choice for traditional jazz and orchestral bass drums. According to Remo, the same surface also delivers an authentic, ethnic-style sound when used on World Percussion instruments.

Construction
