24" Evans EMAD - Clear
EMAD is the bass drum head with interchangeable muffle rings. An award-winning fix for unwanted low-end frequencies.
Product Description
The Evans EMAD Clear 24" is a single-ply bass drum head with a built-in plastic ring where you place the two included muffle rings. By choosing which ring to use, you control how much focus is placed on the low end.
The narrow ring keeps the drum's natural tone while adding extra focus to the low register. The wide ring hollows out the lower midrange for even more low-end focus. If you want the classic felt strip sound, simply play with no ring at all.
Thanks to the interchangeable muffle rings, EMAD is a head with many faces. You can adjust the tone to suit the song, the room, or your own taste without swapping heads.
