24" Paiste Color Sound 900 Mega Ride Cymbal - Black

Product Description

24" Mega Ride from Paiste's Color Sound 900 series, in a black finish. The cymbal shares the same alloy and construction as the standard 900 series, but the colored coating gives it a slightly darker, more controlled sound. Works well both live and in the studio, across all genres.

Sound

The sound is warm, full and dynamic, with a pingy stick attack and lively intensity. The bell is separated from the body of the cymbal, giving it a distinct character of its own when played.

Construction

The cymbal is made from CuSn20 bronze and falls into the extra heavy weight class, giving it a loud to very loud volume. Like the rest of the 900 series, it starts out machine-made and is then hand-hammered in the final stage, a process that gives it its characteristic surface and controlled sound.

Use

With its high volume and clear projection, the cymbal works well both on stage and in the studio, regardless of musical style.
