Played slightly off-center, the UV1 offers nice overtones with a clear identity. Played harder, the sound rounds off and the attack feels closer to a two-ply head. Tuned low, the attack is softer with good low end and sustain, while tuned high, the sound becomes tighter with a firm attack and a full core.

Fit and Tuning

The head uses Level 360 profile for a great fit, wide tuning range, and easy tuning. Note that the width of the muffling ring varies by head size – larger heads have a wider ring.
