24" Paiste 900 Series Mega Ride Cymbal

Product Description

The Paiste 900 Series Mega Ride is a 24" ride cymbal made from CuSn20, the same alloy used in the Paiste 2002 series. Its extra heavy thickness delivers strong volume with a pinging attack sound and a separated bell that cuts clearly through the mix. A great choice if you want plenty of volume with a warm, full tone at an affordable price.

• Extra heavy thickness for high volume and clear projection
• Loud to Very Loud in volume
• Pinging, clear attack sound
• Lively intensity in the overall sound
• Separated bell with its own distinct tone

Sound Character

This cymbal has a warm, full and dynamic sound. The bell is separated from the rest of the cymbal surface, giving a clear, distinct bell tone that doesn't blend into the body's sound. The attack is pinging and clear, making the cymbal easy to hear even in demanding mix situations.

Construction

The 900 Series is produced in two stages. The cymbals are first machine-formed and then hand-hammered in a final step, combining consistent production quality with the character hand-hammering adds to the sound.

Who It's For

Suited for both live and studio use, across virtually any genre or musical context where you want a powerful, cutting ride with plenty of low end and a clear attack.
