22" Aquarian Super Kick 10 - Clear

Product Description

The Aquarian Super Kick 10 Clear is a 22" bass drum head built around Aquarian's patented Floating Muffling System, giving a musical, controlled bass drum sound without felt strips, pillows or any other external muffling. The result is a head that sounds pre-muffled yet still open and natural, with plenty of low-end punch.

The secret is a narrow band of acoustic felt mounted inside the head. Instead of being glued in place, the felt moves and "breathes" with the head as it's struck. This eliminates unwanted overtones while preserving the head's natural motion and attack. No need to build your own muffling setup with felt strips and pillows inside the bass drum.

Construction

The Super Kick series is available in single-ply, double-ply and hybrid-ply versions, in clear, texture and vintage coated finishes. This version, the Super Kick 10, comes in a 22" Clear finish. Every version in the series relies on the same Floating Muffling System for superior sound control without the extra work.

Who It's For

A great option for drummers, drum techs and recording engineers who want a controlled, punchy bass drum tone right out of the box, without having to experiment with external muffling for every drum.
