Product Description
The Remo Emperor 22" in smooth white is a double-ply front head for bass drum that gives a fuller, warmer tone than a standard single-ply front head. The smooth white finish suits most drum kits and works equally well in the rehearsal room and on stage.
The Emperor series is built from two laminated films of 7 mil each (roughly 14 mil total), giving the head more mass and therefore more body and a more controlled attack than thinner front heads. On a bass drum that means a deeper, more controlled sound without excess ring – a good choice if your standard front head sounds too thin or uncontrolled.
Mounting and mic port
If you want to mic the bass drum or place a muffling pillow inside the shell, you can add a port hole ring from Holz. Let us know when ordering and we'll fit it free of charge.
