22" Paiste Signature Mellow Ride Cymbal

Product Description

The 22" Signature Mellow Ride from Paiste is a hand-crafted ride cymbal from the Signature series, cast in Proprietary Signature Bronze alloy. It delivers a musical, full and clear sound with an integrated bell, suited for both live performance and studio work across most musical styles.

Paiste's Signature series is hand-made from start to finish by Swiss cymbal makers, for drummers seeking a personal and expressive sound. The range spans from delicate, sensitive cymbals to strong, powerful ones, and the Mellow Ride sits among those with a washy attack sound and lively intensity rather than a dry, tight response.

Sound Character

The cymbal has a medium thin thickness, giving it a soft to medium volume. The attack is washy, the underlying cymbal wash builds with each strike, and the bell is integrated into the overall sound rather than standing out as a distinct, separate tone. The result is a full, clear and musical sound that works for pop, rock, country, blues and big band.

Who It's For

A good choice if you play across several styles and want a ride cymbal with soft to medium volume and a lively, washy character rather than a tightly defined stick sound.
