22" Paiste Signature Dry Heavy Ride Cymbal

Product Description

Signature Dry Heavy Ride is a hand-crafted ride cymbal from Paiste's Signature series, made from Paiste's own alloy, Proprietary Signature Bronze. It delivers a full, dry, musical sound with a clear pinging attack and a clearly separated bell, a cymbal for the drummer who wants full control over their expression.

The Paiste Signature series is hand-crafted from start to finish by Swiss cymbal makers and sits at the top of Paiste's range. This 22-inch ride has a heavy weight that gives it body and push at medium to very loud volumes, while keeping the sound dry and controlled rather than open and washy.

Sound Character

The sound is described as musical, beautiful, full and clear, spanning a range from delicate and sensitive to expressive and powerful. The attack is pinging and clearly defined, while the bell rings out separated from the body of the cymbal, useful for switching between tight ride patterns and a distinct bell sound on the same cymbal.

Playing Situations

The cymbal works both live and in the studio, and suits a wide range of genres, from pop, rock and heavy metal to country, blues and big band music.
