22" Remo Powerstroke 3 Felt Tone - Fiberskyn

Product Description

The Remo Powerstroke 3 Felt Tone is a 22" bass drum head with a Fiberskyn film that gives you the classic, felt-muffled drum sound without the hassle of a loose felt strip. The felt is built into the head and "floats" inside it, attached at the top and bottom edges rather than glued, which makes the drum considerably easier to tune than with a traditional felt strip.

• Delivers the classic muffled drum sound without any hassle
• Built with free-floating felt, attached at the top and bottom rather than glued
• The felt sits above the head's hoop area, so tuning is noticeably easier
• Fiberskyn film for a warm, natural tone character
• Works equally well on vintage kits and modern drum sounds

Muffling without the mess

A felt strip is one of the most classic ways to muffle a bass drum, but it normally means placing and adjusting loose felt under the head yourself. With Felt Tone, the felt is already built into the head in the right position. You get the same characteristic sound straight out of the box.

Easy to tune despite the built-in muffling

Because the felt doesn't sit under the hoop, as with a traditional felt strip, it doesn't interfere with the tension rods or hoop seating. The result is a head that tunes as easily as a standard head, while still giving you that classic muffled tone.

Size

This head is 22" and made for bass drum. Powerstroke 3 Felt Tone is also available in 18", 20", 24" and 26" for other bass drums.
