22" Evans Onyx EQ3 Resonant - Transparent Coating, Matte
Resonant head with transparent coating for a matte surface, extra stability and more bottom end.
Product Description
The Evans Onyx EQ3 Resonant 22" is a bass drum resonant head built on the EQ3 Resonant series, finished with a transparent coating. The coating gives the head a matte surface while also adding extra stability and more bottom end to the sound. A good choice if you like the EQ3 Resonant character but want a bit more fullness and low-end punch.
The transparent coating sets this head apart from the plain EQ3 Resonant – the surface turns matte instead of clear, the head feels more stable to play, and it adds extra depth to the bass drum's tone. Suited for players who already like the EQ3 Resonant but want to push the bottom end further.
