22" Istanbul Mehmet Legend Ride Sizzle Ride Cymbal
Ride cymbal by Istanbul Mehmet, 22", Legend Ride Sizzle with smaller cup and thin lathing. Rich, warm, natural sound for jazz.
Product Description
The Istanbul Mehmet Legend Ride Sizzle is a 22" ride cymbal built on the brand's legendary Turkish cymbal-making process, featuring a smaller cup and specially thin lathing for a soft, musical response. Developed with input from jazz drummers, it's tailored for jazz styles and delivers a rich, warm and natural sound.
The smaller cup keeps the ping controlled and lets it blend smoothly into the underlying wash, while the thin lathing opens up the cymbal's complexity and keeps the feel light under the stick. It's a cymbal built specifically for jazz playing, developed together with jazz drummers who wanted a natural, warm voice rather than a loud, aggressive one.
