Product Description
The Istanbul Agop Xist Ion Crash 22" features symmetrically placed geometric holes cut into the cymbal, giving it a splashy, raw attack with a very quick decay. It's a great choice for accents, hand drumming, or as part of a cymbal stack.
The cutouts let the sound open up quickly and then die away almost as fast, making the Xist Ion a tool for expressive, short bursts of sound rather than long sustain. The attack comes through raw and open, with a distinctly splashy edge compared to a traditional crash.
Construction and Finish
