Product Description
22" ride cymbal from Istanbul Agop's Lenny White Signature line, the Epoch. This ride delivers a definite, high-pitched stick sound with a trashy, controlled wash underneath. A great choice if you want clear stick definition without losing character in the low end.
The Epoch Ride was developed in collaboration with Lenny White, and heavily inspired by a ride that was given to Wallace Roney by the late, great Tony Williams, which Lenny used to play while working with Wallace. Slightly curved edges, medium-thin weight and a small bell size give this ride a definite, high-pitched stick sound with a trashy, controlled wash underneath.
About the Epoch series
The Epoch series also includes crashes and hi-hats with their own character. The Epoch Crashes feature a deep, warm, but not overly complex crash with a quick decay due to their flatter profile. The Hi Hats are heavy and dark, yet easily controlled, with a very clear and pronounced chick.
