Product Description
The Evans Hydraulic Black is a two-ply oil-filled bass drum head that delivers a full, dark tone with plenty of attack. The oil layer between the two films naturally controls overtones and lowers the pitch compared to EQ heads, giving you a tight, controlled bass drum sound without adding extra muffling.
The black finish keeps a low profile on the kit, while the built-in oil damping means you can skip pillows or other muffling add-ons and still get a focused, studio-ready thump. A solid choice if you want punch and a clear, low fundamental straight out of the box.
