The Evans EMAD System Pack 22" is a complete bass drum head pack that gives you full control over your tone. It includes one EMAD batter head (BD22EMAD) and one matching resonant head (BD22REMAD), both in 22", plus two interchangeable muffle rings so you can shape the sound yourself.

Thanks to its interchangeable muffle rings, EMAD is a head with many faces. It's a single-ply head (EMAD coated, which gives a drier tone) with a small plastic ring where you fit the included muffle rings – letting you fine-tune the sound to taste without swapping heads.

Two Muffle Rings, Three Settings

• Narrow ring – keeps the drum's natural tone while adding focus to the low end.
• Wide ring – hollows out the lower midrange for even more low-end focus.
• No ring – gives the classic "felt strip" sound for a rawer, more open character.

The Resonant Head

The resonant head in the EMAD series controls the overtones and low-end sustain that can otherwise cause feedback, resulting in clearer tone and attack. The 5" port is strategically placed to make mic placement easier for recording and live sound.
