The EMAD Clear is a single-ply bass drum head from Evans that puts you in full control of your bass drum's tone straight out of the box. A built-in plastic ring holds the included muffling rings in place, letting you dial in exactly how much focus and attack you want in the low end. Great for players who want adjustable tone without loose felt strips or pillows.

How the muffling rings shape the sound
The narrow muffling ring keeps the drum's natural tone while adding focus to the low end. The wide ring carves out more of the lower midrange and pushes the focus further into the bottom end.
