22" Evans EMAD Bass Drum Head - Coated White
Bass drum head Evans EMAD 22" in Coated White, single-ply head with 2 muffling rings for different tone characters.
Product Description
Evans EMAD 22" is a single-ply head in the Coated White finish, made for bass drum. With the included muffling rings, the tone can be shaped in several ways.
Included
The package includes 2 muffling rings, one narrow and one wide. They let the head give different tone characters depending on what the drum needs.
Sound
Coated gives a drier tone than clear. With the narrow ring, a natural tone is kept with focus on the low register, while the wide ring hollows out the lower midrange and puts further focus on the bottom end. Without a ring, you get a classic felt strip sound.
Feel
The head has many faces and possibilities depending on how the muffling rings are used.
