Product Description
The Byzance Jazz Tradition Ride is a 22" ride with a warm sound and trashy overtones. It blends characteristics of a crash/ride and a flat ride, with a controlled yet lively character and musical sing.
Material And Manufacturing
The cymbal is cast from 80% copper and 20% tin, known as B20 alloy, and hammered by hand. It is specially lathed and made in Turkey, where the shaping and lathing lay the foundation for the sound. Quality control and finishing take place in Germany before the cymbal leaves the factory.
Sound
The attack is bright but woody, with a deep undertone that gives the cymbal its character. Sustain and volume sit at a medium level, which together with the warm sound character gives a rounded overall impression.
