22" Byzance Jazz Big Apple Ride from Meinl, hand-hammered B20 alloy, made in Turkey.
Product Description
The Byzance Jazz Big Apple Ride is a 22" ride in B20 alloy with a dark, thin character and an almost flat ride-like feel that stays on the stick. It gives a warm sound with medium sustain and a good balance between crash and ride functions.
Material And Manufacturing
The cymbal is made from B20 alloy, 80% copper and 20% tin, and is manufactured in Turkey. It is finished and quality controlled in Germany, and has a Traditional Finish.
Craftsmanship
The cymbal is hand-hammered and hand-lathed on both the top and bottom. This gives it a dark and thin feel with a beautiful singing quality to the sound.
Sound And Function
The sound is characterised by deep tones and a warm overtone register with good volume control. The bell is smaller, giving the warm sound a shimmering character.
