The Evans EMAD UV Coated is a 22" bass drum head featuring a UV-cured coating and the EMAD system's added fullness. It delivers a big, fat bass drum sound with maximum punch and bottom end, while the patented surface stands up to heavy playing.
The head is a single-ply design built from a unique 10 mil (0.254 mm) film, coated with the same patented UV-cured coating and durable single-ply film found on the Evans UV1. The EMAD system gives maximum fullness and attack, making the bass drum sound bigger and fuller without losing the directness of the attack.
Level 360 Technology provides optimized contact between the head and shell for even tuning all around the bearing edge. The head is designed and made in the USA.
