The Paiste 2002 Crash is one of the most iconic cymbals in rock history, shaping the sound of generations of drummers since the first models arrived in 1971. This 22" crash is still built on those same classic foundations, with a bright, clear, powerful attack that cuts through even at high volume.
The alloy is CuSn8 – often referred to as "2002 Bronze" – giving the cymbal its signature blend of warmth and strength. It's a medium-thickness cymbal, making it versatile from medium-soft to loud music, whether you're rehearsing, recording, or on stage.
