Frequency Reduced Technology

FRX stands for Frequency Reduced. These are not low volume cymbals. Instead, they work by cutting specific frequencies that result in the perception of volume. Remove those frequencies, and your 21" FRX Ride sits perfectly in the mix, no matter how hard you play.

Who It's For

FRX is ideal for churches, weddings, corporate gigs, small venues, schools, musical theater, and cruise ships, for drummers who sing while they play, and for band rehearsals or any setting where cymbal volume could be a problem. Even on the largest stages, where a multitude of live mics for singers and acoustic instruments are a challenge, FRX makes a difference.
