21" Istanbul Agop Xist Ion Dark Ride Cymbal
21" Ride cymbal, Xist Ion Dark from Istanbul Agop. Dark, dry tone with articulate sticking, subtle crash and strong bell.
Product Description
The Xist Ion Dark is a 21" ride cymbal from Istanbul Agop with a dark, dry character. It delivers extremely articulate sticking, a subtle underlying crash, and a bell with a strong, distinct tone.
Istanbul Agop builds the Xist series by combining more modern production techniques with traditional cymbal making processes, giving the cymbal professional-level quality at a price accessible to drummers at any level.
Tone and Playing Feel
As a darker, drier take on the Xist Ion Series, the Ion Dark ride offers extremely articulate sticking. Every stroke stands out clearly in the mix. The crash character sits subtly underneath rather than dominating, while the bell provides a strong tone that cuts through a busy groove.
Finish
The cymbal is available with a traditionally lathed finish or a modern brilliant finish, depending on the version.
Who It's For
A great choice for drummers who want a ride with dark, dry character and clear stick definition, without sacrificing a powerful bell.
