Product Description
The Sabian HHX Fierce Ride is a 21" ride cymbal designed together with Jojo Mayer, combining a complex blend of raw tone with a semi-dry "tah" stick sound. Its lighter weight makes it highly responsive while remaining easy to control, resulting in a fierce yet controllable ride.
- Designed for the astonishing Jojo Mayer
- Complex blend of raw tone and semi-dry 'tah' stick sound
- Lighter weight gives high responsiveness without losing control
- Protected by SABIAN Two-Year Warranty
Tone Character
According to Jojo Mayer, the goal was dark and mystical tones found in vintage cymbals, reverse-engineered into a contemporary concept with increased cut and consistency. The raw sound is pitched over a broad amplitude, covering the low end up to above mid-range.
HHX "Tone Projection"
The HHX series' "Tone Projection" design, created by the SABIAN Vault team, is built to project dark, dirty tones in a way previously difficult to achieve in a cymbal. The result is an agitated bite in the attack and a sound that gets you heard and felt.
