21" Sabian HHX 3-Point Ride Cymbal

Product Description

The SABIAN 21" HHX 3-Point Ride was developed together with jazz legend Jack DeJohnette, offering a dark, smokey tone with varying sound nuances across three distinct playing surfaces. The HHX "Tone Projection" design projects that dark tone clearly, with agitated bite and a raw, simmering intensity that other cymbals struggle to deliver. It's a great choice if you want a ride cymbal that gives you several different tonal colors in one instrument.

Sound Character

HHX is built to project a dark tone without losing definition in the attack. The result is a raw, simmering sound character with agitated bite. More of what drummers want to hear, and it gets you heard and felt in the mix. The three playing surfaces each offer their own tonal nuance, so you can move between them depending on what the music calls for.

Who It's For

A cymbal for players who want a dark, complex tone with multiple nuances in a single cymbal, well suited for jazz and other genres where dynamics and variation matter.
