Construction

The top surface is unlathed but slightly polished, and combined with the lathed bottom this gives the cymbal more shimmer than its siblings in the Extra Dry series. The cymbal is cast, rolled and hammered by hand according to the traditional Byzance process at Meinl's Turkish factory before being shipped to Germany for quality control and finishing, including the polished surface.
