20" Aquarian Superkick Single Ply - Coated
20" bass drum head (Coated, single ply) from Aquarian with the Floating Muffling System. Reduces overtones, boosts low-end punch.
Product Description
A 20" single ply Coated bass drum head from Aquarian's Superkick series, built for a controlled bass drum sound without extra external damping. The patented Floating Muffling System delivers a musical, pre-muffled yet natural tone with strong low-end punch.
The Superkick series is one of the most imitated bass drum heads on the market and a favorite among drummers, drum techs and recording engineers who want to avoid felt strips, pillows and other external muffling. The solution is a narrow band of acoustic felt mounted inside the head. The felt moves and "breathes" with the head on impact, eliminating unwanted overtones while boosting that characteristic low-end punch.
Superkick heads are available in single ply, double ply and hybrid ply versions, in clear, texture and vintage coated finishes. This particular version is single ply with a Coated surface in 20 inches, delivering a natural, controlled sound straight out of the box without any extra damping setup.
