Product Description
The Super Kick II is Aquarian's best-known bass drum head, built for drummers, drum techs and engineers who want a musical, controlled bass drum sound without felts, pillows or other external dampening. The patented Floating Muffling System handles the dampening internally, right out of the box.
How the muffling works
The head features a narrow band of acoustic felt built into the construction. Rather than sitting fixed in place, the felt moves and "breathes" with the head as it vibrates. This creates a pre-muffled yet still natural tone, removing unwanted overtones while boosting the low-end punch the head is known for.
No extra dampening needed
Because the muffling is built into the head itself, there's no need to add felt strips, pillows or other dampening materials inside the bass drum. That means faster setup, whether you're in the rehearsal room or the studio.

This particular version, the 20" Superkick Clear Double Ply, is built with two plies and a clear finish, giving extra durability and a slightly more controlled attack compared to the single-ply versions.
