20" Meinl Soundcaster Custom Powerful Crash - Brilliant

Product Description

The Meinl Soundcaster Custom Powerful Crash is a 20" crash cymbal in B12 alloy with a brilliant finish, built for a unique, shimmering sound with a full bottom. Hi-tech computer-controlled hammering gives a consistent character across the series.

When Soundcaster launched in 2004, it was a world premiere for cymbals made from B12 alloy (88% copper, 12% tin). A combination that produced a truly distinctive sound. Soundcaster Custom builds on that with a brilliant finish that enhances the shimmering tone even further.

Sound Character

The Powerful Crash delivers a brilliant sparkle on top together with a full bottom end. A powerful crash that cuts through clearly without turning thin or harsh. Hi-tech computer-controlled hammering ensures consistent tone from cymbal to cymbal.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a powerful, brilliant crash with a clear attack and a full decay. The Soundcaster Custom series spans a wide range, from explosive Thin Crashes to the powerful Mega Bell Ride, so you can build further within the same series.
