20" PST 7 Light Ride from Paiste in CuSn8 bronze. Clear, warm tone with pearly attack, all-around for most genres.
Product Description
The PST 7 Light Ride from Paiste is a 20" ride cymbal made from CuSn8 bronze, built for a traditional, warm cymbal sound at an affordable price. It's an all-around cymbal suited to most genres and works well live and in some recording contexts.
The PST 7 series is made from the legendary "2002 Bronze" alloy (CuSn8) and is designed for drummers who want a traditional sound, look and feel without paying flagship prices. The series comes in three weight classes. Light/Thin, Medium and Heavy. So you can pick the tone and feel that suits your playing.
Sound Character
This ride delivers a clear, clean and open tone with noticeable warmth. The attack is pearly with good stick definition, and the intensity is somewhat washy without becoming messy. The bell has a medium-long decay and a fairly integrated chick sound, making it flexible to play throughout a set.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a versatile ride cymbal that works across genres and volumes, from rehearsal room to stage and some recording situations, without paying for a hand-hammered premium cymbal.
