20" Paiste PST 5 Medium Ride Cymbal
20" ride cymbal (PST 5 Medium Ride) from Paiste in CuSn8 bronze. Clear, open tone with a separated bell.
Product Description
The PST 5 Medium Ride is a 20" ride cymbal from Paiste, made from the same bronze alloy (CuSn8 Bronze, also known as "2002 bronze") used in Paiste's higher-end series, but in a simpler, more affordable execution. The result is a musical all-around cymbal that works across most musical contexts and volume levels, including live use.
Sound and Feel
The sound is clear, clean and open with a distinct, energetic tone. Stick response is clear and defined, with a lively intensity that makes the cymbal comfortable to play from quiet to loud settings. The bell is separated from the rest of the cymbal's sound, giving a distinct bell tone when played there.
Construction
The cymbal is made from CuSn8 bronze with a medium heavy weight, giving it strength and projection without becoming heavy or unresponsive.
Who It's For
The PST 5 Medium Ride suits players looking for a capable, affordable ride cymbal for rehearsal, studio or stage use, regardless of genre.
