Product Description

The Powerstroke P3 Felt Tone from Remo is a bass drum head with a built-in felt strip that dampens the drum the traditional way, without the hassle. The felt strip floats freely inside the head with no glues or adhesives, making the head easy to install while delivering a warm, controlled bass drum tone suited to both vintage and contemporary drum-set applications.

The free-floating felt dampening strip is built into the head at the factory, so you get the dampening effect without cutting your own felt strips or taping loose dampeners in place. The result is a fuller, more controlled tone with fewer overtones and a more focused attack.

Construction

The head is available in Hazy or Fiberskyn films, giving it a unique, specialized look compared to plain white or coated heads. This 20" size fits most standard bass drums of that size, and the head is available in sizes from 18" through 24" across the range.
