20" Paiste Masters Mellow Ride Cymbal

Product Description

The Masters Mellow Ride is a hand-crafted 20" ride cymbal from Paiste's flagship series, cast in CuSn20 bronze (Traditional Bronze) with a medium light thickness. It delivers a warm, full and complex sound with a wide sonic range, suited for jazz, blues, R&B, funk, pop and country at low to medium volume.

Sound Character

The Masters series began as a range of top-of-the-line ride cymbals, expanded in 2014 to include hi-hats and crash models of the same quality. The Mellow Ride has a smooth stick sound and a lively intensity, with an integrated bell that gives a deep chick sound. Because every cymbal is hand-hammered and finished individually, each one has its own unique character.

Construction

The CuSn20 alloy, also known as Traditional Bronze, combined with the medium light thickness, gives a full and deep fundamental tone with a wide sonic range. The cymbal is suited for stage and studio use in musical settings that call for a warm, nuanced ride sound.
